Digital Media
When I was introduced to programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, and GIMP, I felt like this was the path I wanted to take as an artist. I would rush through my painting assignments in high school if it meant more time messing around with any of these types of programs. Much to the often displeasure of my teachers.
While I remember these sessions with much fondness, I realize now that in my pursuits of digital media as a future avenue for art, that I neglected the importance of traditional artwork.
